In Dumfries we are nearing the end of a time when people say goodbye to the barnacle geese who visit from Svalbard. This has been curated into a “Wild Goose” festival which WSC contributes to in various ways.
There is another Wild Goose – and this is the Wild Goose publishing of the Iona Community
They have many resources available in print or to download. These have been produced by the Iona community for many years and are part of the quiet undercurrent with which the Holy Spirit guides the Church in Scotland and worldwide.
So; if you want a window into the world of the 1960’s and some inspiration. Make ten minuets and a cup of something warm. You will find work as worship, Norwegian connections, and George MacLeod building hope while the world seemed to fall apart.

That’s a great video! The connection between working with hands and heart is inspiring. I’ve recently learnt something of working with sandstone and it gives so much more insight into the delicate and responsive permanence of the material. Tough but workable with the right tools and guidance.
