If you are curious…
Asheiri is Gaelic for ‘resurrection’, ‘welcome back’ or ‘welcome home’. It is the name for a network of spiritual free spirits who welcome others along the way. You can read more on their website.
Queen Margaret of Scotland was recognised as someone special for her piety and works of charity. She grew up in Hungary, but was possibly born in Kiev. Through her relationships to many of the powerful dynasties in Europe at the time she had little choice about where she lived – but her calling to follow a religious life worked out in practice where she found herself. As an appetiser you can find out more about her story from Historic Environment Scotland here

and the Franciscans here.
