Autumn Equinox

Yesterday was the autumn equinox. Day and night balance each other. It is celebrated in many ways. Some of these are flourishings from Christendom, some look for earlier roots and others might just be instinctive urges to drink something special and warming.

At the contemporary service in St John’s we built a machine. The processes were more important than the task, and the purpose of the machine was found in it’s building. More about that in another post – but a core feature of the device was finding balance.

If this is a pivot point in the year, what things will shift in your life?

What will be left behind?

What is to be anticipated?
