An Evening talk and quiet evening
Some of you were able to come to our stargazing evening at Elshieshields. Ann Shukman (Our host that evening) has sent out the following invitation:

Dear friends, my son Henry will be over here from USA at the end of the month. He will give a talk at Elshieshields on Tuesday 30 April at 7pm. Title Original Love which is the title of his forthcoming book.

Quiet Morning
A Quiet Morning with the theme of Pentecost will take place on Saturday 4th May. It will follow the usual format; starting at 10am there will be three five-minute talks, by John Stevenson, between which there will be time for private prayer, reflection and meditation and will conclude at 12:30pm with a short informal worship, led by David Maylor. The grounds of Elshieshields will be available for wandering through and enjoying God’s creation; they should look resplendent once the bluebells come out! Refreshments will be available from 9:30am (please bring own cup) and at the conclusion you may wish to bring a packed lunch to enjoy fellowship with each other.
